The Dickerhoof Connection
A FAMILY LEGACY
Kim grew up on her dad’s job sites in Carmel-by-the-Sea, California where he created storybook cottages with tons of curb appeal. Her 2 older brothers worked alongside their dad, her mom ran the books, and Kim would help with painting and other easy tasks as a young girl. As an homage to her dad’s legacy and the family business, Kim decided to use her maiden name for her business.
Meet Kim’s Assistants
Shoester + Pinna
Kim is never far from furry friends. Before becoming a designer, she was a veterinary technician specializing in surgery and emergency care. Kim also has a degree in entomology and was part of the butterfly conservation program at the Oregon Zoo. Her two cats help in the design process by inspecting all tile samples and keeping her company during desk work.
